‘What Comes Around’ is the debut collaboration between MC/producer Dead Ott and vocalist Asher Dust. Both hailing from Oxford, UK and with a wealth of recordings in their respective back catalogue’s, the two first teamed up in 2015 with the intention of recording a couple of features, but after working solidly for the past year those initial tracks have morphed into their thirteen track debut album. It’s a diverse sonic collection of broken beats, trip hop stylings and downtempo ditties all blessed with the unique vocal talents of Asher Dust. With subject matter ranging from youth violence (Flowers On The Concrete), identity (Losing Me), civil rights (Get Involved), to transgender issues (Friend Of Mine) and more, it’s clear that Asher Dust would get an A from Moe Dee for sticking to themes. Dead Ott's productions branch off from his usual brand of UK Hip Hop, as the beats touch on trip hop, electronic, soul and more.
